TYRONE TRAYLOR makeup-hair
When he isn’t in the studio of a fashion photographer or behind the scenes at a television show, Tyrone Traylor is on the road bringing ideas for fresh, flattering makeup and hair to real women. Tyrone is a natural on tour because he’s as approachable as his makeup philosophy: giving women the confidence to make themselves more beautiful.
One of the things that make Tyrone well-loved among fans is his willingness to share his experience and secrets. “I’ve spent years applying makeup to all skin types, face shapes, contours, and ages. You name it – I’ve done it!” His list of credits include on – air work for The View, Anderson Cooper 360o, Paula Zahn Now, Makeover Mondays for the Rosie O’Donnell Show, Livin’ it up With Ali and Jack, and the Queen Latifah Show, along with various music videos and commercials. His work has been seen on runways in New York, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam and London. Tyrone has also conducted seminars and performed demonstrations for Clairol, Maybelline, Garnier, Shiseido, Estée Lauder, Lancome, Francois Nars, iVillage.com, and MSN.com, Allure, More, People, Marie Claire, Style (Monte Carlo), Real Simple, Latina, Jackie (Holland) and Essence are among the publications that he has been quoted in.
A native New Yorker, Tyrone grew up in Brooklyn the son of a fashion-model mother and musical conductor/ arranger father. He spends his precious free time painting, biking, hiking and rescuing animals from city streets. His love affair with makeup and hair started in college theatre classes and still burns brightly.
